Kashmir’s first Ahle Hadees masjid.
A home of knowledge and da‘wah.
Ghuraba Ahle Hadees was established at Zaldagar, Srinagar, in 1897 by Mufakkir-e-Islam Moulana Mohammad Anwar Shopaini. He served as its first Imam and Khateeb.
For more than a century, the masjid has remained a centre of worship, knowledge and service, with its leadership continuing through successive generations of the founder’s family.
